Butterfly Dreams - Quilt Assembly

All the blocks are assembled now, so it is time to sew them together. The setting of this quilt makes it wider than it is tall - sashing and multiple borders will bring it to the correct size. First, the blocks are assembled into columns (instead of the traditional rows):

Then a set of sashing strips was added to connect the interior:

Now the quilt top is done & basted, ready for quilting.
